| 8-3-07: I had the same
problem as with the sketch for 8-1-07. Drawer's block. I had
to give up drawing for the day again. |

| 8-2-07:
I polished this one up and made it an IRK comic, which you
can see here. I
was working on another strip at the time, but it was taking
so long. Minutes after the idea for this comic popped
into my head I sketched it out and decided to post this one
instead. The final product ended up pretty nice for a rush
job. Normally I don't sketch preliminary versions of my
strips on paper; I tend to go through the entire process on
computer. |

 |
| 8-1-07: This was a bad sketch day. I was going for a particular
character rendering that I just couldn't nail. You can see
the evolution of the character from left to right. I never
quite got it and gave up drawing the rest of the day. Hence,
the saying below. |

| 7-31-07: I may be
misrepresenting myself with all this corporate bitterness.
Of course I understand the benefits of capitalism, free
trade, blah blah blah. But when I'm sitting in my cubicle
(i.e. padded cell) stewing in my impotent rage, my doodles
tend to verge on the negative side. The guy on the right is
both balding and sporting a mullet. I believe that's called
a "skullet." Noone in particular inspired the drawing. |

 |
| 7-30-07: I just
wanted to do something cartoony but of course I couldn't
resist a vague jab at the corporate world. And to the right
you can see I was playing with the IRK logo. I used to
doodle letters and logos and fonts non-stop. Ah, just like
old times. |
